From 30 September to 5 October 2025, Croatia will once again be in the spotlight of the cycling world as it hosts the 10th edition of the international multi-stage cycling race CRO Race. This year too, the race will feature six stages, with starts and finishes in charming, picturesque towns and regions that eagerly await domestic and international competitors and numerous visitors.
One of the most anticipated stages will be Stage 4, connecting the island of Krk with the town of Labin. This route offers breathtaking views, coastal roads and passages through the heart of Istria, making it one of the most attractive stages of the entire race.
CRO Race is much more than a sporting event — it is an important platform for promoting Croatia as an attractive (cycle) tourism destination. Its almost 1,000-kilometre-long route, linking continental Croatia with the coast, sends out to the world the most beautiful image of Croatia — its natural diversity, rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality.
The significance of this event for positioning Croatia on the European and global tourism map has been recognised by numerous supporters, including the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian National Tourist Board, City of Zagreb and Croatian Power Utility (HEP), who have supported the project from the very beginning. Also contributing are the Ministry of the Interior, the Directorate of Police, the Croatian Olympic Committee, the Croatian Cycling Federation, and many other partners and sponsors.
The sporting part of the race will once again be of the highest level, with several of the world’s best teams from the UCI WorldTeams category expected to take part. Every year, the race attracts numerous cycling enthusiasts who get the unique opportunity to watch elite cyclists from up close and experience the lively atmosphere of this popular event.
The passion for showcasing sporting excellence and the variety of routes make CRO Race not only interesting for professional riders but also for cycling enthusiasts, recreational riders and two-wheeled explorers.
