Traveling by car: As Island of Krk is the Northerners Island in Adriatic Sea, most of travelers who visit Krk, come with a car. The easiest way to come to Krk is passing a bridge connecting mainland with the Island. From June 2020 Bridge is free of charge, so you will just drive trough. Bridge is connected to the main A1 highway, so it does not matter where you come from – from Central Europe, Eastern or Western Europe, you will always have a good connection to the Island of Krk.

Traveling by plane: You maybe didn’t know, but International Airport Rijeka is actually situated on Island of Krk. In the last years a lot of regular flight connections started operating, especially in summer months. Rijeka International Airport is offering regular flight connections to several German cities, United Kingdom and France: Dusseldorf, Eindhoven, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Koln, Košice, London, Munchen, Paris, Riga and Stuttgart. On airport you can rent a shuttle or a car. There are several options.

Traveling by bus: regular bus lines are coming to Krk from direction Rijeka and Zagreb. When you reach one of this two cities, you will not have problems with coming to the Island of Krk.
