We invite you to join us for an organized and expert introduction to the olive harvest and the production of extra virgin olive oil. The program includes:
- Arrival at the terrace of Hotel Kanajt, where there is free parking for buses and cars.
- Aperitif: "smokvica" (a local fig-based drink).
- A short film (about 6 minutes) on olive processing, which will introduce you to the process from harvest to olive oil production.
- A guided walk through olive groves near the hotel, where you will learn about local olive varieties and harvesting methods.
- Visit to the olive mill: only during October, while the mill is in operation.
- Olive oil tasting, where you can sample different types of extra virgin olive oil.
- The opportunity to purchase olive oil directly from producers.
